Aaron is an artist and designer born in New York and raised in North Carolina. His work is inspired by his education and occupation in architecture, as well as strong interests in travel, maps, and the intersection of the built & natural environments. He counts among his strongest influences the work of Rackstraw Downes, Guillermo Kuitca, Ed Ruscha, and Sze Tsung Leong.

In 2010, he earned his 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte School of Architecture, graduating first in his class and receiving both the AIA Henry Adams Medal and the Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal. Following his undergraduate studies, Aaron accepted a scholarship to Rice University in Houston where he explored "the sprawl" on his bike and earned his post-professional Master of Architecture degree in December 2011. His studio project from that semester earned him Third Prize in the Margaret Everson Fossi Fellowship, awarded by jury to the best design projects at the graduate level.

Following his time in Houston, Aaron returned home to Charlotte to begin working with a boutique residential architecture firm, where he remains today. In his spare time he enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with his wife and miniature goldendoodle.
